D&H Equilac Mare’s Milk Replacer provides nutritional support and supplementary milk intake for foals when orphaned, rejected or when a mare’s milk supply is insufficient.

Formulated for foals from one day old to weaning, Equilac provides complete nutrition for the development of happy healthy foals. The easy-to-use instant mix formula contains essential milk proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals for growth. This product is an essential mainstay for any breeder, as a reliable back-up recommended by vets and industry professionals alike.

The D&H breeding range has been formulated by veterinary and nutrition experts to look after the specific needs of breeding horses. Contained within this range are;

D&H Creep Pellets - formulated to support development and growth for foals and weanlings
D&H Suregrow Stud Balancer - the best-selling concentrated and versatile stud balancer, perfect for weanlings.
Creep Pellets or Suregrow are the ideal first and transition diets from Equilac to ‘hard feed’.

Please note that whilst Equilac is an effective milk replacer, it is not a substitute for the vital colostrum required by the foal within their first 6-8 hours of life to enable passive transfer of immunity. If you are concerned about the foal’s colostrum intake, please seek veterinary advice immediately. For equine use only.

Skimmed Milk Powder, Fat Filled Skimmed Milk Powder, Whey Powder, Vegetable fat (Palm/coconut), Whey Protein, Dextrose.

Equilac is a palatable milk replacer formulated to provide high quality nutrition early on when mare’s milk is insufficient or unavailable, to help raise strong, happy and healthy foals.

Add the Equilac milk powder to warm water (130g of Equilac per litre of warm water) and whisk for an instant result.

Feed at 37-38 ºC and do not reheat.

Equilac may be fed via a suitable bottle, bucket or automatic machine feeder.

Ensure clean fresh water is available at all times.
